About Me

My name is Anna Dinger, and I graduated from Kent State University this past May with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design and a minor in Photography.

I began working in the visual arts when I took photography classes in high school, which sparked my love for the medium. Photography quickly became my passion and has remained the focus in my creative journey. I embraced experimentation and trial and error, which played a major role in developing my photographic style. Wanting to expand my creativity, I became interested in visual design as well. Through working with layouts, images, and typography, I discovered a way to elevate my photography by incorporating it into thoughtful design compositions.

What I love most about both photography and design is discovering what can be created through pure creativity. In these media, experimentation is key to unlocking new possibilities. If something doesn’t work, there’s always something else that will. I’ve developed my visual aesthetic by using a variety of software, techniques, and approaches to composition. The goal is to make my work appear vibrant to the eye and for my work to be seen as depicting a freeing story for other people to visually enjoy.
